Pregnancy Testing
The St. Norbert College Health & Wellness Center offers students free pregnancy testing services by appointment. All services provided by Health & Wellness Center are confidential. For assistance navigating free off-campus pregnancy testing and services in the Greater Green Bay area, contact Health & Wellness Services at 920-403-3266. Health & Wellness Center is located in The Mulva Family Fitness and Sports Center, 2nd floor.
Class Options
The college offers mainly morning and afternoon classes, with limited offerings in the evening and online. Some credits may be transferable from other universities. For more information, contact the Office of the Registrar, registrar@snc.edu.
Health Care and Insurance
During your pregnancy, you will need health services beyond what is offered at St. Norbert College. Look to find an area doctor within your health insurance plan.
For more information on healthcare and insurance, contact Erin Bongers, Director of Health & Wellness Programs; erin.bongers@snc.edu.
Housing
You shouldn’t feel like you have to leave campus if you become pregnant. We are committed to doing all that we can to accommodate your needs and figure out the best living option for you, including consideration of financial aid, so that you can continue living and learning at St. Norbert. While pregnant, you are welcome to continue living in your current housing arrangement. As a parenting student, there are limited options available to you. For more information, contact the Residential Education and Housing office; housing@snc.edu.
Academic Aid
Pregnancy does not change your status as a student or your eligibility for academic support. Tutors and other academic assistance are available through academic support services. For more information, stop by Mulva Library Room 303, contact the Office of Academic Success, Support and Accessibility at acadsupport@snc.edu or 920-403-1321. You can also contact Corey Ciesielczyk, Director of the Office of Academic Success, Support and Accessibility; corey.ciesielczyk@snc.edu.
Financial Aid
Pregnant and parenting students are eligible for the same scholarships and loans as other students. Under Title IX, your scholarships cannot be terminated due to your pregnancy. Specific loans for housing and childcare are not currently available through the college, but students should explore resources offered by the State of Wisconsin's BadgerCare Plus program. We strongly encourage you to fill out FAFSA. Depending on your situation, your independent/dependent status may be different than the average student’s and may entitle you to more financial aid. For more information, contact the office of financial aid at financialaid@snc.edu, located in Todd Wehr Hall.

Counseling
Pregnancy can produce significant emotional, psychological, and spiritual challenges for anyone, especially when you’re navigating through college. All St. Norbert College students have access to counseling services. Counselors are here to help you deal with the transitions, challenges and overall experience of life while at St. Norbert College, and that includes pregnancy and parenting.
Campus Ministry is also available for students of any or no faith tradition. The staff will meet you where you are, whatever your background or questions, and seeks to help you grow as an individual and with others.
Parking
Although there is no parking designated specifically for pregnant women or parents with infants, pregnant and parenting students may obtain a handicapped parking pass. For more information, contact the campus safety office at 920-403-3299 or parking@snc.edu.
Childcare
You can take care of your child and your education, too – and we can help. There are childcare options both on- and off-campus. The on-campus children’s center is licensed to care for children ages two and a half to five during the school year and two and a half to nine during the summer. If this does not accommodate your needs, we can connect you with volunteer or paid babysitters off-campus. For more information, contact the Children's Center at 920-403-3013 or childcare@snc.edu.
Anti-Discrimination Policies
Know your rights. Title IX protects you from discrimination on the basis of pregnancy and parental status in educational programs and activities. This means that as a pregnant or parenting student, you have the right to continue participating in classes and extracurriculars, the right to reasonable adjustments and services, the right to excused absences and to make up work missed due to your pregnancy, and more.
For more information, contact the Title IX office at titleix@snc.edu or visit the U.S. Department of Education.
