Health & Wellness Center

In partnership with Prevea Health

The Health & Wellness Center offers an integrated approach to overall wellbeing and strengthens the foundation for providing holistic care for students.

Student Appointment Scheduling

Programs

Health & Wellness Center offers a number of programs designed to promote and support the well-being of the campus community.

Local and Self-Help Medical Resources
We’ve assembled contact information for all of your emergency, after-hours or primary care needs. You’ll also find information on local pharmacies and a wealth of self-help health and wellness resources.

Medical Insurance
All current students are required to have a health insurance plan and provide and maintain that information with the Health & Wellness Center.  Learn more about insurance and fees.

Student Health Fee
Students pay a health fee of $172.50 per semester for services provided in each of the respective areas located in the Mulva Family Fitness and Sports Center including, medical services, counseling services and use of the state-of-the-art fitness center and pool.

Cost
$0 per preventive care visit
$0 per primary care visit
$0 per behavioral care visit
$0 per lab visit regardless of the number of labs (some exclusions may apply)
Patients will be referred out to a provider of choice for services not available or cannot be performed at the SNC clinic.

Primary care

  • Acute care such as allergies, bites and stings, burns and sunburn, coughs and colds, ear pain, flu, headache, injuries/non-surgical fracture and musculoskeletal care, laceration evaluations,pink eye/stye, sinus infections, skin infections, sore throat, upper respiratory infection, UTI/bladder infection
  • Routine medical care including medication management
  • Chronic disease management for high blood pressure and cholesterol, hyperlipidemia, diabetes, dyslipidemia, COPD, asthma, thyroid problems
  • Minor office procedures such as skin lesion, removal/biopsy, stitches
  • Nicotine cessation
  • STD testing and treatment
  • Basic mental health including anxiety and depression
  • Virtual appointments available if appropriate.

Labs

  • Rapid screen diagnostic tests such as rapid strep, urinalysis, pregnancy, mononucleosis and blood glucose
  • Routine medical labs

Behavioral Care (Counseling Services)

  • Academic stress
  • Addictions
  • ADHD
  • Anxiety and panic disorder
  • Blended family and divorce issues
  • Depression
  • Grief and loss
  • Healthy eating, diet and sleeping patterns assessment

Massage Services
Massages are offered at the Health & Wellness Center and are available for current SNC students, faculty, staff and spouses.

Cost
15 minute chair massage – $15
30 minutes – $25
60 minutes – $55

Payments are made directly to the provider at the time of the appointment by cash, check, Venmo or Cash App.

Meet our Licensed Massage Therapist:
Nora Fahey, Licensed Massage Therapist, specializes in relaxation Swedish and deep tissue massage techniques. Nora has received her education from Fox Valley Technical College in Appleton, Wis. With special interests in holistic wellness, Nora strives to connect mind, body, and spirit through massage therapy.
