Megan Schultz

Prevea Graduate Student Intern

B.S. Business Administration, Minor: Psychology, UW-River Falls
M.S. Clinical Mental Health, UW -Oshkosh

I am in my third year as a master’s student at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, graduating May 2025 with professional counseling degree.

My philosophy of counseling is based on the belief that the client is the expert and has the power to elicit change. I believe in creating a safe and supportive environment where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences without judgment. My approach integrates elements of relational cultural theory, humanistic psychology, and client-centered counseling, emphasizing the importance of authenticity, relationships, and self-discovery. There is no one size fits all in counseling. I will tailor my approach to your unique needs and preferences.

Areas of interest: Relationship concerns, self-esteem, identity exploration, life transitions, anxiety, depression, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and stress management.

I'm committed to providing a supportive, empowering, and growth-inducing space where you can feel understood, accepted and supported on your journey.
