Prevea Graduate Student Intern

BB.S. Biology, Psychology, University of Wisconsin–La Crosse
M.S. Clinical Mental Health Counseling, University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh

I am currently a third-year master’s student at the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh, where I’ll be graduating this May with a professional counseling degree with an emphasis in clinical mental health. I am looking forward to working with you at the Health & Wellness Center at SNC. I aspire to cultivate a genuine and safe environment. By fostering a space where students can openly explore thoughts and emotions, I hope to empower you to identify inner strengths and work towards meaningful change. I focus on offering compassionate and non-judgmental support, making sure that our work together is both respectful and transformative.

My therapeutic approach is integrative, drawing primarily from the principles of person-centered, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and relational cultural theory. I believe in the power of authentic connections and empathic relationships. My areas of interest include, relationship issues, identity exploration, self-esteem, depression, anxiety, stress management, life transitions, and autism spectrum disorder. Making the decision to seek counseling might feel intimidating and overwhelming, and that’s alright. My goal is to meet you exactly where you are at, learn about where you want to go, and discuss a plan to help you reach your goals.
