A New Look for Your Magazine

Everything’s new in the springtime, and that includes your St. Norbert College Magazine, now in the mail and already available online. With our spring issue, we have taken the opportunity to launch a fresh approach and redesign. (This issue of @St. Norbert brings you a taste of what's in store.) We want you always to find something new to enjoy when you visit snc.edu/magazine so, as well as a vibrant new look, you’ll find we have added “New at St. Norbert,” a section for ever-changing content.

We’ll continue to bring you multimedia web-exclusive stories and this issue offers a particularly rich selection. You’ll meet old friends like Music Theatre’s Dudley Birder (in a video retrospective of his career) and economics professor Sandy Odorzynski (whose study of the economic impact of the college identifies $120 million generated within Brown County).

We bring you new perspectives on science from eminent alumni like Michael Foley ’84 at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, and his Harvard colleague Cheryl Vaughan ’92. And we introduce you to newer friends with equally interesting insights: Karen Park (Religious Studies), posting on an influential national blog, and Steven Garza ’13, whose McNair Scholarship research on Russian weaponry connected him with dozens of Washington insiders.

We’ll connect you with several other folk, too, including Nell Benton ’01, who bought a Milwaukee cafe for $100; and Frans Debonne, a Belgian associate and avid collector of Praemonstratensia (items associated with the Norbertine order).
